Today 20 years ago my daughter was born, today she is 20 years old. I am hoping she has a good day, I am hoping that she sees her blessings in her life and I hope she does not concentrate on the things that she does not have but on the things that she does have.
I hope many things for her, like happiness and self fulfilment and that she finds her faith to be strong and her spirit to be soaring when she needs them the most.
20 years is not such a long time after all, it seems like a lifetime but really they went fast.
I hope she values life and values herself and values everything she has.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life.
Today as some christians claim that the end will happen at 6:00 p.m eastern time I am thinking that today is the first day of the rest of my life and no matter what as Christians we all going to face God and best is to try to be prepared the best way we can.
I am not sure if they are right, most likely they are not as Jesus said no one but my father knows the hour and the day, but we all are going to face our end of the world day anyways, except no one will be wearing yellow shirts with the day or anounce it on tv before it happens.
I figure the best thing to do is enjoy the day and face God when we do and the rest will follow into place just like life, not everything is under our control.
here are my five things to be grateful for
1 A beautiful morning with my loved ones
2 Coffee and the internet
3 Running water (yes, I lost water temporaly last month, a few hours of oh no)
4 This blog
5 God is good in my life.
